In-Home Nursing Care
We help your loved one live comfortably at home. We provide 1-on-1 home nursing care to seniors, so they can receive the same professional services they would in a rehabilitation center or skilled nursing home while remaining in the comfort and privacy of their own homes.​

In addition, we partner with Skilled Nursing Facility Providers to offer those services as well.
​
Nursing care services are available on an hourly or live-in basis and for both short-term and ongoing needs. Short-term care is common among people who are healing from surgery, an injury or an illness. Clients who receive ongoing care are typically elderly, chronically ill or disabled.
Registered Nurses (RNs) directly supervise our Certified Nursing Assistants, overseeing the quality of care and revising clients' care plans as their needs and conditions change.

Post Surgical Care
Avycare team will assist you as you recover from your surgical procedure. Our RN Care Manager will assess your post operative care plan and assign an experienced trained caregiver to provide care focused on your individual needs to promote safety, comfort, healing and independence.
Specialized care provided for people who have undergone surgery includes:

Vital sign and wound site monitoring if indicated.

Wound care as necessary by nurse or delegated to caregiver when appropriate.

Monitoring comfort with medication prompt, assistance or delegated administration if necessary.

Supervised, planned activity to increase strength, endurance and return activities to pre-operative levels while maintaining physical safety.

Preparation and serving nutritious meals; offering fluids frequently to promote healing.

Observe for nausea or vomiting.

Monitoring of bladder and bowel function during post op period.

Frequent inspection of skin during bedbound phase.

Caregiver will immediately report to RN; unrelieved discomfort, vomiting, fever or other sign of infection, abnormal vital signs or change in mental status

Accompaniment to follow-up appointments.
